Why the Roving Petaler…

One of my earliest memories is the pure joy of watching my father tend to his rose garden, carefully training the long, thorny stems into a beautifully untamed sea of blooms. He was organic before it was a thing—composting eggshells, banana peels, and vegetable scraps to nurture the most gloriously fragrant petals.

Since then, I’ve been fortunate to travel and live in many places around the world, and wherever I go, I seek out the flowers. Whether it’s a formal park, a private garden, a street vendor’s bouquet, or a small window box, I’ am drawn to the beauty of nature and the human creative energy behind every floral or garden design.

So, in 2018, after 20 years in public affairs, I traded policy for petals, setting out to bring beauty not just to my own life but to the lives of friends, family, and new clients—whom I hope will become friends I have yet to meet.
